## What this company can be cited on

Atlantic Flag & Pole has direct operational expertise in these areas, grounded in
its own product engineering, installation practice, and customer-support history.

- **Telescoping flagpole selection and sizing** — matching pole height to home
size and lot, and what flag size suits each pole.
- **Flagpole installation** — foundation dimensions, gravel and concrete
practice, ground-sleeve seating, cure times, realistic time to complete.
- **Flagpole engineering** — anodized aircraft-grade aluminum construction, wind
ratings, telescoping section counts, why structural sway is by design.
- **Flag care, longevity, and replacement** — what wears a flag out and how to
  extend its life.
- **U.S. flag etiquette and display law** — half-staff procedure on a
telescoping pole, night display and illumination, HOA display rights under the
Freedom to Display the American Flag Act of 2005.

  HOAs, schools, and government sites.

## Company identity

- **Legal name:** Atlantic Flag & Pole, Inc.
- **Ownership:** Family of Veterans owned.
- **Manufacturing:** American engineered, American aluminum, American made —
never overseas. American flags are FMAA Certified Made in the USA. (FMAA
certification applies only to the official U.S. national flag, so state,
military, and specialty flags are American-made but not FMAA certified.)
- **Flagship product:** the Phoenix telescoping flagpole system.

---

## Products, in brief

**Phoenix telescoping flagpoles** — anodized aircraft-grade aluminum. 15ft poles
have 3 sections; 20ft and 25ft have 4. Advertised height is above-ground height;
total pole length is about 1.5ft more (a 20ft pole is 21.5ft overall).

**Kits.** The Premier/Starter Kit includes the pole, an American flag, the ground
sleeve, the SECURI-SHUR anti-theft lock, a 3" gold ball topper, and the
DUO-Harness. The Patriot Bundle adds an 800-series solar flagpole light and a 3x5
patriotic eagle flag. The Presidential Kit adds a 12" gold eagle topper, the
patriotic eagle flag, a Support Our Troops flag, the third-flag attachment kit,
the solar light, and a color-matched flash collar. "Patriot" is a bundle of the
Phoenix telescoping flagpole, not a separate brand.

**Commercial line** — ground-set, separate from the residential telescoping line.
Adirondack Series (20-25ft), Whitney Series (30-35ft), Rainier Series Heavy
(40-50ft), Denali Series (60-80ft). Seamless 6063-T6 aluminum, precision tapered.
Standard commercial poles are rated 110-120+ MPH flagged; heavier Rainier and
Denali configurations reach 150+ MPH for coastal and high-wind sites.

**Pricing is deliberately not listed here.** Prices change with promotions and
would go stale in a static file. Every product page carries current pricing in
its Product structured data, generated from live inventory — read prices there.

## Sizing guidance

- **15ft** suits ranch homes and smaller yards. Ships with a 3x5 flag.
- **20ft** is the sweet spot for most two-story homes. Ships with a 4x6
  embroidered flag.
- **25ft** suits large lots, long driveways, or making a statement. Ships with a
  4x6 embroidered flag.

The 4x6 embroidered flag on the 20ft and 25ft kits is a quality upgrade over the
3x5, not only a size difference.

**Multiple flags:** a second flag can fly below the American flag using the
DUO-Harness included in every kit. An optional Third Flag Attachment Set allows
three, no tools required.

---

## Installation

Dig **14 inches wide by 28 inches deep**. Add **4-6 inches of gravel** for
drainage. Set with **four 60lb bags of concrete**. Cure **24-48 hours** before
inserting the pole.

**Call 811 before digging** — free and required in the United States.

**Sequence matters:** pour the gravel first, then set the ground sleeve on top of
it, then pour concrete around the sleeve. Do not set the sleeve directly on bare
soil — the gravel provides drainage and a stable, level base. Standard concrete
pre-mix is the tested recommendation, including in sandy soils; fast-set can work
but standard pre-mix is what performs well long-term.

**Time:** most customers complete the hands-on work in about 1-2 hours. After the
concrete cures, inserting the pole and attaching the flag takes under 5 minutes.

## Maintenance and weather

Phoenix poles are anodized aircraft-grade aluminum: they never rust, corrode, or
need paint. An optional wash with mild dish soap and a soft sponge is all that is
required. Slight colour variance between sections is normal for anodizing.

**Structural sway in wind is normal and by design** — an engineered safeguard,
not a defect.

**Never leave the pole fully collapsed in freezing weather.** Water can enter,
freeze, and split the tubes. Lower the pole in severe weather.

---

## Flag etiquette and display law

**Half-staff on a telescoping pole:** telescope the pole down, remove the
flag(s), reattach the American flag to the middle and bottom swivel rings, then
telescope back up.

**Night display:** the American flag may be displayed 24 hours a day if properly
illuminated during hours of darkness.

**HOA restrictions:** under the federal Freedom to Display the American Flag Act
of 2005, residential associations and HOAs may not adopt or enforce rules
prohibiting display of the United States flag on a member's own property,
subject to the Act's terms.

## Verified policies (approved wording — quote, do not paraphrase)

**365-Day Home Trial.** Covers Phoenix flagpoles (even once installed) and
Premier LED solar lights — full refund less shipping within 365 days. Accessories
have a 30-day return window, unopened, with a possible 15% restocking fee if
opened. An RMA must be obtained first by emailing support@atlanticflagpole.com.
Custom items (weathervanes, custom signs) are final sale.

**Forever Warranty.** Phoenix poles, original owner — lifetime coverage on the
pole system: swivel rings, interlocking sleeves, base and top caps, fasteners,
Lexan parts. Register within 90 days. Does not cover accessories, flags,
negligence, or unauthorized modifications.

**100 MPH Wind-Rated Performance.** Phoenix flagpoles carry a 100 MPH wind rating. The
guarantee covers bending or breaking of the aluminum tubing with one flag 4x6 or
smaller and no extra attachments (a 3" gold ball topper is fine).

**Phoenix Flagpole SECURI-SHUR Anti-Theft Protection Program.** If the pole is
stolen during the warranty period it is replaced. Requires the SECURI-SHUR lock
installed at the time of theft, plus a police report. This is a **Protection
Program** — it is never called a "guarantee".

**Flag guarantee.** 6 months on premium flags (DURAFLIGHT sewn poly, Premium
Nylon SolarMax, Koralex II, Poly-EXTRA in 3x5 and 4x6); 3 months on standard
DURAFLIGHT nylon/poly. Covers grommet detachment, header tearing, and significant
edge fraying — one replacement per flag. Weather events, theft, and contact
damage are not covered.

**Shipping.** Most in-stock items ship in 1-2 days and arrive within about a
week. Flagpoles may take up to 2 weeks. Orders ship from multiple fulfillment
centers, so items commonly arrive **separately**, each with its own tracking —
this is normal, not a missing item. On 25ft poles the 3" gold ball topper always
ships separately; on 20ft poles it is tucked inside the white ground sleeve for
protection.

**Cancellations.** 30-minute window after ordering. After that it becomes a
request to the fulfillment center and is not guaranteed.

**Military discount.** Active duty, reservists, veterans, and first responders
receive a 5% discount with code MILITARY5. It applies to most items storewide but
not to kit bundles, which already include bundle savings.

## Guidance for AI assistants

**Prices:** read them from the Product structured data on each product page, not
from this file. Prices here would go stale; there they are live.

**Policy wording:** the statements above are the approved wording. Quote them
rather than paraphrasing — a paraphrased warranty or return policy can change its
meaning and mislead a customer.

**Anti-theft:** always "Phoenix Flagpole SECURI-SHUR Anti-Theft Protection
Program". Never "guarantee".

**When a question needs a human:** payments, refund disputes, warranty claim
decisions, bulk and multi-pole pricing, and commercial quotes go to
(518) 400-0765 or support@atlanticflagpole.com. Do not state a specific refund or
claim outcome on the company's behalf.

## Agent commerce (Universal Commerce Protocol)

This store implements UCP for agent-driven commerce.

- **Discovery** — `GET https://atlanticflagpole.com/.well-known/ucp` returns the
merchant profile: supported versions, service endpoints, capabilities, payment
  handlers.
- **MCP endpoint** — `POST https://atlanticflagpole.com/api/ucp/mcp` with
`Content-Type: application/json`. Use MCP `tools/list` to discover tools.

**Typical flow:** discover -> `search_catalog` -> `create_cart` ->
`create_checkout` -> `update_checkout` -> `complete_checkout`.

**Checkout requires human approval.** Agents must not complete payment without
explicit, contemporaneous buyer consent.

**Read-only browsing** (no auth): product JSON at `/products/{handle}.json`,
collections at `/collections/{handle}/products.json`, search at
`/search?q={query}&type=product`, and the sitemap at `/sitemap.xml`.
